Our sea moss comes in many different varieties of strains with each strain identified by its own color, which can vary from no color to white, red, purple, yellow and shades in between. These different varieties depend on the strain and time of year it is harvested which enables our commitment to sustainable and fair price practices.
All our purple sea moss is 100% authentic and is a non-farmed wild-harvested Jamaican product. All our products maintain its true authenticity with just a freshwater wash and then thoroughly dried under the hot Jamaican sun. The drying process results in the sea moss lightening in color.

- For quicker gel creations, boil the sea moss as the heat will cause the fibers of the moss to soften and break down quicker. Let cool.
